Overview

Soong Kee Beef Ball Noodle, nestled in the bustling heart of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, offers a genuine taste of traditional Chinese beef noodles. Located conveniently in the basement food court of Lot 10, it invites both locals and tourists to savor a classic dish that has stood the test of time. The ambience recalls the vibrant food courts of the 1980s, delivering a nostalgic yet lively dining experience without the pretentiousness of high-end eateries.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the beef 우육탕, a rich and aromatic beef broth served with springy, bouncy noodles that perfectly soak up the flavorful gravy. Whether you choose it dry or in its clear soup form, the dish maintains a deep, robust taste that reflects authentic local culinary traditions. The soy-based broth carries a slightly salty note that amplifies the umami, harmonizing well with the accompanying chili condiments, adding just the right kick for those who appreciate a bit of heat.

Accessibility is a key advantage—situated near major public transport hubs like the MRT and Monorail, Soong Kee fits seamlessly into the city’s vibrant dining scene. It appeals to food enthusiasts seeking comforting, hearty meals that embody Malaysian-Chinese heritage without the fuss. Affordable and satisfying, it’s a spot that caters well to individuals craving a quick, flavorful lunch or a nostalgic dinner fix in a lively, unpretentious setting.

In essence, Soong Kee Beef Ball Noodle is more than just a food court stall—it's a culinary refuge where the harmony of savory broth, springy noodles, and tender beef balls capture the essence of Malaysian street food culture. It’s a must-visit for those who appreciate simplicity done well, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s dynamic Bukit Bintang district.

Located in the basement food court of lot 10. Really good springy noodles. Dry noodles has a deep rich flavour that is complimentary of the clear soup

Sure the place isn't the most high end food court. It is reminiscent of the good courts of the 80s. Beef noodles are great. Quite cheap. Definitely recommend. Also this place is accessible by MRT & Monorail.

My all time favourite comfort food - dried beef noodle. Noodle is bouncy and absorb the gravy fully. The soup is really aromatic and the condiments of chili sauce goes so well with the beef. Highly recommended.

Taste ok. You can order a set of noodles, soup and vegs. Enough for one person portion.
